Death, Love, & Birthdays is the first ever feature-length project from award-winning student film crew Picture’s Up Productions. Produced independently on a shoestring budget, the film is a coming-of-age dramedy. Though set in the summer of 2024, its themes are timeless, following three young adults in different stages of life as they come to terms with the sacrifices of maturity, the fickle nature of relationships, and the transformative reality of growing up.

Death, Love, & Birthdays is the biggest, most personal, and most challenging project I’ve ever taken on. Artistically, technically, and emotionally, it’s the culmination of everything I’ve learned since I first started making movies.

I’m very lucky to have been continually surrounded by kind and talented people: without the cast, crew, and donors who participated in Death, Love, & Birthdays, the film’s production would not have been possible.

It’s hard to believe the film’s premiere is already on the horizon. This is my movie. I can’t wait to make it yours, too.
